Step into a high-impact Operational Trainer role at the heart of Kellanova’s manufacturing operations in Wrexham. In this onsite position, you’ll design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programmes that equip employees with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform their roles effectively and safely. You’ll play a key role in supporting operational excellence by ensuring training is compliant, aligned with company policies, procedures, and performance standards, and tailored to meet the needs of our manufacturing environment. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Training Delivery: Deliver engaging classroom and on-the-job training for new and existing employees, helping colleagues build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform effectively in a manufacturing environment.
  • Training Materials & SOPs: Develop, update, and maintain training materials, Standard Operating Procedures, and supporting resources to ensure content remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with operational requirements.
  • Onboarding & Induction: Coordinate onboarding and induction training for new hires, ensuring they receive a structured, welcoming, and compliant introduction to their roles, the site, and Kellanova ways of working.
  • Competency Assessment: Assess employee competency through observations, coaching, and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback that supports safe, consistent, and high-quality performance.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Identify training needs by partnering closely with operational leaders and reviewing performance data, helping to prioritise learning solutions that address skills gaps and improve team capability.
  • Operational Change Support: Support the implementation of new operational processes, systems, and procedures by creating and delivering clear, practical training that enables successful adoption across the site.
  • Role-Specific Learning Solutions: Collaborate with managers and subject matter experts to design tailored learning solutions that meet role-specific requirements and support consistent performance standards.

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated execution of problem-solving tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong self-motivation, with an ability to manage and prioritise own initiatives.
