Here at Kellanova, you’ll play a key role in keeping our site running at its best—improving the reliability of critical production assets and making sure our equipment performs safely, consistently, and to standard. You’ll do this by developing, implementing, and continuously improving maintenance and reliability strategies that reduce downtime, extend asset life, and support our high‑performing teams on the factory floor.
In this role, you’ll report to the Reliability Maintenance Planning, Facilities and Utilities Manager and work at the heart of cross‑functional delivery—partnering with Maintenance Execution, Continuous Improvement, Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, and Quality Food Safety to identify loss, remove recurring issues, and drive sustainable reliability improvements. This role encompasses all aspects of an FMCG production facility, including a busy, high volume manufacturing plant and office environments, giving you real variety and the chance to see the impact of your work every day.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintenance Planning - Builds a weekly maintenance plan aligned to site priorities, planning work around operational constraints and ensuring resources and parts are in place to deliver.
- Maintenance Follow‑Up - Follows up on planned and unplanned maintenance activity to ensure actions are captured, prioritised, and executed to completion.
- Asset Criticality & Strategy - Completes equipment criticality reviews and assesses maintenance programmes to confirm effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Equipment Data & BOM - Builds and maintains an accurate Bill of Materials for site equipment, supporting effective planning, spares availability, and right‑first‑time maintenance.
- Schedule Performance - Maximises adherence to the maintenance schedule and drives timely close‑out of defects raised, reducing repeat failures and unplanned downtime.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- An engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) and a hands‑on, practical approach.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of Lean tools and ways of working.
- Strong problem‑solving skills—you enjoy getting to the root cause and turning ideas into action.
- Confidence working with different teams and building great relationships at all levels.
- Good analytical skills, with confidence using Excel and SAP (or similar systems).
