Join us as a Quality and Food Safety Supervisor at our cutting‑edge frozen production facility in Blue Anchor, NJ. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, ensuring compliance with, and certifying food safety programs. Collaborating with Corporate Quality, you’ll execute company programs, maintaining a safe, clean, reliable, and productive environment in our plant while supporting our production team. This role supports our plant from 3pm-12am. As a Quality and Food Safety Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring Kellanova’s products meet the highest quality standards. You will coordinate excellence through your leadership by engaging with your team in development and training. You’ll keep the plant audit‑ready. You’ll handle it all, from new product innovation quality standards to troubleshooting persistent quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance is Key – Be responsible for ensuring microbial program and sanitation compliance. You will also be accountable for HACCP, mandatory training, line validations and third‑party audits.
  • Program Management – Ensure allergen program management and compliance, inspection program management and delivery of established metrics. Maintain the site QFS Lab Budget to keep plant financially on track. Manage the site’s Food Safety Plan.
  • Continuous Improvement – Help drive continuous improvement and HPO initiatives forward. Work with partners to execute programs as well as ensure management, adherence, and achievement of plant SOPs & KPIs. Manage, support, and train the site QFS SOP database.
  • Lead with Excellence – You’ll manage, direct, train, develop and support QFS Technicians while ensuring they have the proper tools and chemical inventory to be successful.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or other relevant degree or substantial experience in quality & food safety.
  • HACCP and SQF certification.
  • Technical knowledge and a minimum of three years experience in quality & food safety.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and computer software skills to include Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Experience in a union environment.
  • Hands‑on microbiology laboratory experience.
  • SAP software experience.

Compensation

The annual salary range is $88,900-$122,210, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
