We are working in partnership with an Outstanding, independent prep school in Windsor to find an exceptional Room Leader for their 2–3 year old setting. The Role
You will take full responsibility for leading a small, experienced team within the 2–3 year old room, ensuring high-quality care, learning and development at all times. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:
- Lead planning and delivery of a high-quality EYFS curriculum
- Create a structured, nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Monitor children’s development and identify individual needs
- Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and families
- Lead by example, setting the standard for care, behaviour and professionalism
- Support and develop your team to maintain consistently high standards
You will also take on additional responsibility during school holidays, helping coordinate activities and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the setting.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of something long-term. You will ideally have:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification (essential)
- At least 3 years’ nursery experience
- Experience leading or supporting within a room
- Strong understanding of EYFS and child development
- Confidence managing a team and setting clear expectations
- Excellent communication with both parents and colleagues
