Role
- Measuring and taking off PDF drawings and producing tender documents.
- Assisting with the full bid submission including creation of bills of quantities.
- Pricing bills of quantities, generally in Excel format.
- Identifying areas of risk during the tender process and liaising with the Company Directors.
- Attending meetings and site visits.
- Communicating with the client and design team during the tender process and pre‑start meetings.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous estimating experience within the landscape / construction industry.
- Good commercial and contractual knowledge of common contracts used in the industry, such as NEC and JCT.
- Confident IT skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes; particularly a good knowledge of Excel.
- Clear and concise communication qualities including customer handling and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Able to multitask, prioritise, manage time effectively, use own initiative.
- Team player with good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence essential.

- A salary range of £40‑£45k including benefits package, depending on experience.
