Head Chef in an Elderly Nursing Home

Shift Pattern: 4 x 10hr shifts per week - between 07.30 to 19.30 - including alternative weekends

Working in a STUNNING Elderly Nursing Care Home with alternative weekends off and no late nights.

Duties:

  • Provide nutritious and well-balanced meals for residents while ensuring a high standard of culinary excellence.
  • Manage the kitchen staff, oversee food preparation, and menu planning.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Cultivate a positive dining atmosphere for residents and cater to their special dietary requirements.
  • Play a pivotal role in staff training, ensuring a commitment to health and safety standards.

Person Specification:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent qualification, desirable.
