Lowmac Alloys is a Waste Management and Recycling centre based in Irvine. We deal with both commercial and residential waste. Our drivers play a pivotal role in the success of our company providing a high level of customer service in line with KPI's.
Key Activities:
- To deliver and collect waste in a timely safe manner, provide support to other departments, as required;
- Maintaining good relationships with customers;
- Complete and maintain documentation, complying with company procedures;
- Perform all required daily/weekly vehicle checks, statutory and as required by the company;
- Adhere to all rules and regulations relating to tachograph procedures;
- Maintain effective communication with management and colleagues by passing on information, concerns and problems as appropriate;
- Be compliant with GDPR regarding data and information handled in connection with the services;
- To be responsible for personal learning and development where appropriate and undertake training both mandatory and optional to ensure compliance, to increase knowledge, skills and awareness.
The successful candidate will have the following skill set for this challenging role:
- Class 1 or 2 driving licence
- Drivers CPC
- Must possess the necessary training and certificates necessary to drive an HGV
- Good geographical knowledge of West of Scotland
- Good customer service skills
- Good communication skill and able to deal with change.
