Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station and salon environment
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer expert advice on styles and treatments
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and loyalty
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling and barbering, with relevant qualifications or certifications preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Knowledge of current hair trends, products, and techniques
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of service
- Previous experience working in a salon or barber shop is desirable; training will be provided for the right candidate
This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their career within the hairdressing industry while providing exceptional service to clients.
