We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support our Early Years provision. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners at a crucial stage in their education.
Key Responsibilities- Support children’s learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
- Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups to help them progress
- Foster positive relationships and act as a role model for behaviour and communication
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of EYFS activities alongside the class teacher
- Observe and share insights into children’s progress, development, and wellbeing
- Support daily routines, including transitions and personal care where needed
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in all pupils
- A caring and patient individual with a genuine passion for working with young children
- Understanding of child development within the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
