Join us as a UI Designer! This role focuses on bringing digital experiences to life through clean, intuitive and visually engaging interfaces. It involves everything from early sketches and wireframes right through to polished, pixel-perfect prototypes across both web and native apps. Accessibility and consistency matter, so designs follow WCAG AA standards and align with best practice for iOS and Android, as well as our brand.
The role works closely with UX, research, optimisation and delivery teams to turn insight and ideas into easy-to-use journeys that help improve our overall Digital Experience score. There’s also a strong collaborative element—sharing designs with stakeholders, gathering feedback, preparing design specifications for developers, and helping shape our design systems. It’s a hands-on, creative position that blends independence, organisation and collaboration in equal measure.
What we are looking for:
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory and core design principles to create high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
- Solid knowledge of WCAG AA accessibility standards and the ability to design inclusive, compliant user interfaces.
- Advanced skills in Figma, producing everything from low-fidelity wireframes to pixel-perfect, interactive prototypes for web and native apps.
- Experience creating and maintaining robust design systems and components across multiple devices and platforms.
- Confident working with UX, research and optimisation teams, using insight from usability studies to refine and improve designs.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement - don’t worry, still apply. Your unique perspective could be just what we’re looking for.
What you’ll get:
- A discretionary annual bonus to reward your impact.
- 3% flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle, whether that’s extra cash, more holiday, or added health cover.
- Hybrid working for the best of both worlds—collaboration and focus.
- Free onsite parking, saving you time and money.
- Recharge and refresh opportunities with 28 days of holiday plus public holidays, and the option to buy up to five more—giving you more time for what matters most.
- Peace of mind with life assurance that supports your loved ones, no matter what.
- A culture that celebrates you and supports your wellbeing - with recognition awards, access to on-site gym facilities, and a variety of wellbeing initiatives offered throughout the year to help you stay balanced, resilient and feeling your best.
- Encouragement to be your authentic self at work by joining one of our vibrant employee networks - like Rise (Gender), Proud (LGBTQIA+), Culture, or Spark (Neurodiversity & Disability) - and connect with a community that celebrates and supports you.
