The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 ÂŁ per year.

You'll play a key role in shaping smarter decisions across the business by building predictive models that support areas like strategy, finance, pricing, forecasting and litigation. You’ll dive deep into Lowell’s core business model to spot opportunities where analytics can deliver real impact, and you’ll bring your insights to life by clearly presenting your analysis to stakeholders across the team and the wider organisation.

Working closely with fellow analysts, you’ll build, enhance and maintain robust models using the most appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques, while continuously sharing and developing machine learning knowledge together as a team.

Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds, Hybrid working.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a quantitative discipline with a focus in statistics or econometrics.
  • Experience building one or more of logistic regression, generalised linear models, or categorical data analysis.
  • Experience with one or more machine learning methods (e.g., random forest, k-means clustering).
  • Hands on experience of numerical programming (using, e.g., Python, R).
  • Solid critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to keep looking for better answers.
  • Strong coding experience.
