Customer Advisor – Privacy – Leeds
Customer Solutions Advisor – Privacy
Location: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working.
As a Customer Solutions Advisor in our Privacy team, you will service customers who have raised a GDPR related query or request about any part of our business.
You will deliver first class resolution, striving to reach the right outcome at the first point of contact or with minimum delay and within the regulated timescale. You will be expected to deliver good customer outcomes considering both business and customer needs.
You will ensure you are fully knowledgeable and up to date with current process and regulations or utilise the correct escalation process.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- You will build an in depth knowledge of all common work types across the department and work towards being capable of working them all within the first year of being in role. Consistently achieve all targets set for the department.
- Communicate with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to an excellent standard.
- Fantastic attention to detail and accuracy.
- Consistently evidence role model behaviours.
- Manage, maintain and achieve a personal development plan.
- Deliver excellent customer service whilst managing regulatory risk at all times.
- Maintain knowledge and application of regulatory requirements and ensure that you follow local procedures or guidance given at all times.
What we need from you:
- Experience of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint and MS Teams
- Excellent letter writing skills (including spelling, punctuation & grammar).
- Customer focused with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Skilled at communicating with all levels and with various stakeholders (including peers, management, other business areas and other organisations).
- An understanding of GDPR is beneficial.
