Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clear and effective governance framework, supporting audits and ensuring policies are relevant and easy to follow.
- Identify and manage financial risk and strengthen internal controls across our multi-entity organization.
- Support audits, reviews and regulatory requirements, turning insight into actionable reporting.
- Build strong relationships across the business, challenge where necessary and embed good risk and control practices into everyday decision-making.
- Lead, coach and build capability within a finance team.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA) with solid post-qualified experience, ideally in financial controllership.
- 5–7 years of experience in financial risk, internal controls or audit, with a good understanding of COSO and other relevant frameworks.
- Confident working with accounting and auditing standards, financial systems (e.g., 'Oracle') and data/BI principles.
- Experience operating in complex, multi-entity or multinational environments, ideally within financial services.
- Collaborative, organized, analytical thinking, strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective communicator and influencer, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to lead and build capability.
