Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance a range of software products.
- Provide technical leadership within a growing team – collaborating with key contributors to develop the architecture of a global multi-cloud/multi-region IoT platform.
- Influence development practices, contribute to process enhancements, and enforce best practices on project work.
- Work with Partner teams to understand their requirements and build systems that ensure that changes are correctly applied to the platform.
- Ensure SDLC Processes are followed and enhanced to deliver increasingly effective and productive software solutions for a DevSecOps 24/7 Cloud environment.
- Deliver non-functional enterprise requirements and support decision making on approaches in partnership with technical leadership.
- Provide mentoring and technical direction to development, helping to identify technical solutions to realize design.
- Complete research and conduct POCs on new technologies.
- Participate in CICD development pipelines, contributing to modern test and delivery techniques.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent level of skills and experience, MSc or higher preferred.
- Strong knowledge of core Java skills.
- Ability to write clean, bug-free code that is easy to understand, and easily maintainable.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working with multi-threaded applications and core Java libraries (Spring).
- Experience of IOT Cloud – AWS IoT CORE, IOT Hub, PTC IoT.
- Experience CICD and Cloud operations – Jenkins, Argo, Kubernetes.
- Experience with enterprise security and compliance processes and tools.
- Experience using Confluence, JIRA, or other Atlassian tools.
