As our portfolio of equipment rental brands continues to grow and strengthen their presence across key markets, the need for creative, compelling, and consistent digital content is more important than ever. We are now seeking a Motion Designer to elevate our visual output across digital campaigns and platforms, strengthening our storytelling, supporting global brand awareness and enhancing engagement across our target audiences.
The Role
This role reports to the Head of Brand & Strategic Communications and will be (ideally) based in our Lisburn office. The Digital Designer will be responsible for the production of high-quality digital content across our global portfolio, working closely with the centralised content team and regional marketing teams. This role plays a critical part in bringing our brands and their unique value propositions to life online, ensuring digital visuals are impactful, engaging, and aligned with wider communication strategies. The role requires a blend of creative thinking, precision execution, and effective project management.
Digital Production
- Conceptualise impactful visual content for digital campaigns and platforms that meets communication objectives. This includes a range of digital assets such as static graphics, carousels, reels, adverts, website and email banners, HTML5/ Gifs, animations, video, etc.
- Work to brief to develop compelling visual outputs end to end, from ideation and concept to story boarding and final delivery, ensuring quality and brand consistency across all digital touch-points.
- Create, edit and film (if applicable) short-form videos, animations, and motion graphics. Bringing key messages and stories to life through visual interest and a strong narrative flow.
- Work within existing brand design systems, using brand guidelines effectively to drive consistency and protect our visual identity whilst keeping content fresh.
Content Innovation
- Generate new and original ideas, providing strategic design input in brainstorming sessions to develop impactful digital campaigns.
- Explore new formats and creative techniques to continually elevate the quality of our digital content.
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing delivery timelines with high quality production standards.
- Maintain clear workflows from brief to delivery, ensuring expectations, timelines and resources are managed efficiently.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Highly creative individual who is comfortable managing and executing multiple content projects at one time, with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication or a related field.
- Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere etc.
- 2-3 years’ experience in digital content creation, design, or multimedia production (agency or in-house).
- Strong track record of producing high quality digital assets across a range of formats.
- Understanding of social media landscape and what works visually on different platforms (ads, reels etc). With previous experience designing ad creatives for organic and paid social campaigns.
- Solid understanding of design systems, visual hierarchy, layouts, typography, colour theory etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to elevate creative outputs using data, insights, or performance learnings.
- Well-organised, with strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly, with confidence in explaining creative rationale to non-design stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently and within a team.
- An individual who is eager to learn, take feedback and grow professionally.
