This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be based in one of our offices in Lisburn, Belfast or Cheltenham, England. We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Digital Marketing Director to lead our global inbound digital strategy and ensure world-class digital execution across all markets. This senior leader will own the performance and evolution of our inbound channels, including SEO, paid search, paid social, organic social, existing customer marketing (email/lifecycle), and our global website ecosystem.

You will lead a digital team supporting four key regions (Europe, US, GCC, Far East) and partner closely with our four Service Lines — Rental+ (long-term rental), Projects (short-term rental), Retail, and Events & Exhibitions — working with both product and local marketing teams to deliver commercial priorities into effective digital programmes that drive brand awareness and customer growth.

The role will have five direct reports: Head of Digital – Website, Content & SEO, Email Marketing Manager, Social Media Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Executives (x2).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Digital Strategy Leadership: Lead the global strategy across all inbound digital channels. Manage digital agencies, tech platforms, and global vendors. Manage digital marketing budget, forecasting, and performance governance. Translate commercial priorities & product/local Marketing briefs into digital plans for regions & service lines. Develop best-practice frameworks, playbooks, and processes to scale globally.
  • Inbound Digital Marketing: Own global SEO strategy and search performance. Lead paid search and paid social, via agency partners or future in-house capability. Ensure search insights feed into content planning, service-line messaging, and regional campaigns. Oversee global organic social strategy and content frameworks. Direct existing customer/lifecycle marketing and CRM-driven campaigns.
  • Website Management: Lead global website strategy, UX, CRO, and optimisation. Ensure websites support all service lines and regional localisation requirements. Enhance the customer journey across acquisition, consideration, and retention stages.
  • Leadership & Functional Development: Act as the thought leader and champion for the digital marketing discipline across the organisation. Embed digital best practice across the global marketing organisation. Mentor and develop high-performing digital marketing talent.
  • Performance Reporting: Establish KPIs, dashboards, and weekly reporting across all digital channels and markets for both regional and service line stakeholders. Lead a test-and-learn culture to drive continuous optimisation. Deliver monthly performance review for CCO, CEO and CRO.

What success looks like: Consistent, high-performing digital execution across all regions and service lines. Improved acquisition, engagement and conversion metrics. A high-performing digital function recognised globally as a strategic driver of revenue and brand strength.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience: Highly organised individual, able to manage & execute multiple projects at one time, be commercially curious and bring a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Required Experience: Significant experience of operating at a Senior level in a digital B2B marketing position with global or multi-market scope. Demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a multi-faceted marketing team. Deep expertise across SEO, paid media, social, CRM/email, and website optimisation. Experience supporting multiple service lines or product portfolios. Proven ability to lead centralised teams and manage agency ecosystems. Strong analytical mindset and experience with marketing technology. Excellent stakeholder management skills in complex, matrixed environments. Experience working with marketing technology stacks, automation platforms, analytics tools, CMSs, and CRM environments. Understanding of privacy regulations and regional compliance requirements.
