Role Description The Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Leicester. This role involves overseeing electrical projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will coordinate with clients, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to clarify requirements, manage resources, and resolve issues that arise during project execution. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, preparing reports, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures. The role also requires supporting continuous improvement in project delivery, maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting a positive, safety-focused culture on site.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects.
- Candidates should possess inspection and quality-focused skills, including Inspection capabilities to verify work, materials, and compliance with standards.
- Relevant experience in electrical contracting, construction, or engineering environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across site and office teams.
- Proficiency in project planning tools and basic IT skills (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software).
- Formal qualifications in project management or engineering (such as a relevant degree, diploma, or recognized certification) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety, quality standards, and continuous professional development.
