Job Description
Senior Engineer – Heat Pumps – Overview\\nWe are working with a successful and established Renewable Energy company who are looking for a Lead Engineer/ Supervisor with experience on Heat Pumps to join their Operations & Maintenance team. They have recently won a new contract covering PPM, Reactive Maintenance and Repairs to Heat Pumps and associated systems within predominantly light commercial properties.\\nThe company specialise within installing Heat Pump Networks as well as individual GSHP & ASHP to commercial and large domestic properties such as Manor Houses, Retirement Homes and Care Homes. You will be part of the O&M side which looks after sites which have a central plant room with a Commercial Scale Heat Pump (<200KW) providing heating to a number of different smaller properties such as flats and rooms on site.
Your role will be servicing, maintaining fault finding and repairing the Heat Pump and Plant Room Systems (they can train you up on the bigger units) as well as supervising a team of Junior Engineers/Plumbers. If you haven’t worked on Commercial Heat Pumps yet, they can give you full training, all they are looking for is an Engineer with good domestic heat pump knowledge who is keen to learn. They will also get you additional qualifications such as F-Gas if you don’t have it already!\\nYou will also work on the associated systems in the plant room such as pumps, strainers, electrical controls and more.
