We are currently working with an established Renewable Energy company in the Portsmouth area who are looking for a Field Operations Supervisor to join the team overseeing their Installation and Service/Breakdown divisions and their Gas & Heat Pump Engineers.

The company has been established for 20 years, initially starting as a Plumbing & Heating contractor before moving into Renewables. They currently deliver Heat Pumps, Boilers, Solar PV, Insulation and other similar systems to domestic properties in and around Hampshire. They are one of the most successful companies operating under the Government ECO/Grant Schemes such as RHI, Green Homes Grant, LAD, HUG and similar funding. In the South East area, they have installed 1-in-4 measures that have been installed under the ECO schemes.

The role would be split 50/50 between on the tools and Supervisory work, overseeing installation teams and subcontract teams, ensuring installations are carried out on time and to a high standard. You will deal with technical support, training and development of the apprentices and Junior Engineers, auditing installations and work carried out and dealing with customers.

They are a successful renewable energy company that focuses on retrofit and new installations of ASHP, Boilers, Solar PV and Insulation. They are a £10 million turnover business that has grown 33% across the last year and their target is to double in size over the next couple of years. There are a lot of progression opportunities available with this role.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience on Domestic Gas or Heat Pump works
  • Experience supervising engineers
  • Experience carrying out audits
