We are working with a leading provider of EV charging who are looking for EV Maintenance Electricians to support its growing UK network. The business has been running for 15 years and covers all of Scotland and Nationwide.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting EV charging equipment across large commercial and public sites such as Industrial, Warehouses, Shopping centres and Business parks. They are also looking to move into more domestic work as the company grows.
As a company they manufacture and supply their own brand of EV chargers that are Ultra rapid EV charging systems. They already have 10,000 chargers in Scotland alone however they have 40 Engineers out on the road meaning the workload is shared around and there is always someone to lean on if you need a bit of technical support. This is a field-based role suited to an experienced electrician who enjoys finding faults, variety in their work, and being part of a growing EV company that can offer training and progression.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on EV charging units (AC & DC)
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on site
- Complete routine servicing, inspections, and safety checks
- Attend breakdowns and respond to callouts within agreed SLAs
- Accurately complete job reports via mobile devices
- Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts
- Follow all health & safety procedures and risk assessments
- Participate in a paid on-call Rota
EV Electrician – Requirements
- 18th Edition
- 2-3 years electrical experience

Electrician for Heat Pumps – Salary & Remuneration
- Salary of £35,000 - £45,000
