Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will primarily support the delivery of our Net Zero Graduate Scheme and provide administrative support to our two TA Partners, including interview scheduling and CV screening for roles outside the schemes. Reporting to the Head of Talent, the role contributes to LCCC’s growth and supports the Government’s Net Zero 2050 ambition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end process for our graduate scheme campaigns, including CV screening, supporting hiring managers with sifting activities, coordinating technical tasks, and organising assessment centres.
- Assist with the planning, execution, and delivery of graduate scheme campaigns.
- Work with the communications team to support marketing and branding efforts for the schemes, including attending external events when required.
- Support two TA Partners with administrative recruitment tasks for roles outside the graduate schemes, including booking interviews, CV sifting, and coordinating candidate logistics.
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers to ensure effective and efficient recruitment processes and deepen business understanding.
- Champion inclusion and diversity within the recruitment process.
- Deliver a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout all touchpoints.
- Support the offer process, including issuing and negotiating offers, closing candidates, and liaising with the people operations team to prepare offer documentation.
- Manage and respond to queries received in the talent mailbox.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Significant experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns, preferably early‑careers or graduate programmes, including planning and running assessment centres.
- Willingness and experience performing the administrative elements of recruitment (e.g., producing offer letters, scheduling interviews using internal calendars).
- Experience using an ATS (Pinpoint desirable but any system considered).
- Creative and proactive approach to talent sourcing.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Experience conducting qualifying and screening calls with candidates.
- Confident in offer negotiation.
- Genuine interest in sustainability, renewable energy, and the Net Zero agenda.
- Experience headhunting or sourcing candidates across a range of roles (ideally within energy or major infrastructure/construction).
- Experience supporting the marketing or branding of recruitment or graduate campaign activity.
