We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join our Norwich office, supporting the accurate and timely processing of client payrolls.

This role can be appointed at experienced level or trainee level, depending on skills and prior payroll exposure.

Working as part of our friendly payroll team, you will contribute to day‑to‑day processing, maintain high standards of service, and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

The role offers excellent development opportunities, including on‑the‑job training and support to build payroll and PAYE capability.

Requirements

  • Assisting the payroll team with day-to-day requirements
  • Process payroll information for clients under supervision.
  • Complete on the job training to learn payroll and PAYE skills
  • Prepare payrolls and Construction Industry Scheme returns
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with team members and where required clients
  • Communicate with HRMC
  • Other administrative duties as required
