We are looking for an analytical and organised Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £50,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will be based at our Support Office in Newcastle under Lyme.
In this role, you will transform data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will develop dashboards, reports, and analysis that drive performance, efficiency, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Business Intelligence Analyst you will report into the Head of Business Intelligence, transforming general and marketing data into actionable insights.
Skills and experience required
- Data Integration, Reporting and Advanced Analytics: Create customer data models by connecting CRM, website, campaign and engagement data.
- Assist, develop, design and analyze multi-touch point attribution models to identify which campaigns and channels generate the highest quality leads.
- Carry out and provide deep-dive analysis on customer journey patterns, enquiry sources and develop lead-scoring models to predict likelihood of conversion.
- Build, develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility of enquiries, conversions and ROI.
- Use and develop forecasting techniques to support occupancy planning and campaign timing.
- Competitor and Market Intelligence: Analyze and track competitor marketing activity, pricing strategies and share of search.
- Develop and provide regular competitor benchmarking reports covering digital visibility, campaign activity and messaging trends.
- Identify emerging trends, threats and opportunities at both local and national level to inform marketing and business strategy.
- Feed insights into campaign planning, creative positioning and leadership decision-making.
Experience and skills required:
- You will have proven experience in marketing analytics, attribution modelling, segmentation, and forecasting.
- You will have strong skills and experience in data analysis using SQL, Power BI, Tableau or Google Looker Studio.
- You will have demonstrable experience of being commercially minded with a focus on ROI and business outcomes.
- You will have proven experience of working collaboratively, with a track record of working across teams.
- You will be familiar with SEO, PPC and digital campaign performance tracking.
- You will be familiar with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or other BI Products.
- You will have hands-on experience with CRM and marketing platforms such as SugarCRM, Salesforce or HubSpot.
- You will have knowledge of attribution modelling, segmentation and forecasting techniques.
- You will have experience in using, developing and understanding of AI-driven tools for customer engagement and analytics.
