We are looking for a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse who wants more than just a job; someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, leading by example, and making a meaningful difference every day. You will play a vital role in supporting residents' clinical needs while ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and dignity are maintained.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing clinical care, administering medication, updating care plans, and supporting the wider team on shift. You will work closely with colleagues, residents, and families to ensure person-centred care is delivered in a safe, compassionate, and respectful way.
This is a 42.88-hour contract, working night shifts from 19:45 - 08:00 at £24.50 per hour, on a 2-week rolling rota that includes every other weekend:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

About Kings Hill:
Kings Hill Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built care facility set in one of Kent's most thoughtfully designed modern villages. Opening in Spring 2026, the home has been created from the ground up to support 78 residents with a wide range of needs, including residential, dementia, nursing, and respite care. Every aspect of the home reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional standards of safety, comfort, and personalised support, enhanced by innovative technology and thoughtfully designed spaces.
Situated in the heart of Kings Hill—a thriving community known for its green spaces, safe walkways, and strong neighbourhood spirit—the home will be woven into village life. Light, bright, and welcoming, the building has been designed to maximise natural light and views of the beautifully landscaped gardens, with spacious balconies providing calm outdoor areas for residents to enjoy.
Potential start date is 7th July 2026.
Role Responsibilities:
- Promote the highest standard of person-centred clinical nursing care to residents.
- Manage allocated duties and supervise the care team ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
- To be a role model and demonstrate person-centred care delivery.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that you are responsible for or come into contact with.
- Manage the delivery of residents' personalised care according to their agreed plan of care for the duration of a shift.
- Promote professional standards within the home supporting the Deputy and Home Manager.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
- Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care through written care plans.
- Maintain correctly written records as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
- Manage daily rotas and delegate daily workload ensuring sufficient and safe use of manpower.
- Ensure that all new admission files are completed within the week of arrival and the named nurse, senior carer, and key worker must all contribute to completing the file.
- Build relationships with external professionals.
- Assist the home manager to carry out regular quality audits of care plans.
Skills and experience required:
- Experience in elderly care is essential.
- Registered Nurse with a valid PIN.
- Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older people in order to undertake the coaching and supervision of Senior Care and Care Assistants.
- Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance.
- Demonstrate the ability to co-ordinate and motivate a team.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively.
