Eden Manor is a luxury purpose-built care home facility providing care for up to 80 residents, designed for people requiring Residential, Dementia and End of Life care. Situated in a quiet residential area within the Morton area of Carlisle in Cumbria, the home provides residents with a peaceful environment, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and Chances Park. The home offers a supportive environment with 80 En-Suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas.
Our dedicated teams are hand selected through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we meet the residents' individual care and social needs and provide an exceptional level of care. Eden Manor only employs permanent team members and has had 0 agency usage since opening in 2022. Eden Manor has a dedicated activities and well-being team who cover a 7 day period to provide engagement and socialisation to all who live in the home and the local community. The home reflects the Lovett Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers. Across Lovett Care, all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team. You will be responsible for organising the Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to enable the dining experience for our residents to be smooth and efficient at all times. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service.
- Supporting and assisting visitors.
- Informing the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
- Following cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
- Ensuring that all training given is adhered to.
- Managing, allocating duties and supervising the hospitality team ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
- Coaching staff and participating in ongoing development of staff.
- Promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and experience required:
- Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential.
- Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team is essential.
- Participation in activities organised in the Home is essential.
