This wonderful Lovett Care home boasts a wide range of modern facilities to help residents feel at home, including beautifully decorated bedrooms equipped with ensuite bathroom facilities, a selection of stylish communal lounges, inviting dining spaces and manicured gardens where residents can enjoy some of the fresh sea air.

The dedicated team here at Bradshaw Manor ensure no two days are the same, whether it be a trip down Rhyl promenade or baking, there’s an activity for everyone.

Across Lovett Care all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.

We are seeking to appoint a Registered Nurse to join our team.

You will support the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager in providing leadership to the care team and effective 24-hour management of the home within the available resources.

We have a 0 hours BANK contract available with an excellent hourly rate of £25.05!

Shift times are 0745-2000 or 1945-0800, with alternate weekend working.

Plus NMC Fee paid, paid breaks and handover, paid training, support with revalidation and free onsite parking.

Role Responsibilities

  • Promote the highest standard ofperson centredclinical nursing care to residents.
  • Manage, allocatedutiesand supervise the care team ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
  • To be a role model anddemonstrateperson centred care delivery.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that youare responsible fororcome into contact with.
  • Manage the delivery of residents personalised care according to their agreed plan of care for the duration of a shift.
  • Promote professional standards within the home supporting the Deputy and Home Manager.
  • Provide supervision, coaching and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
  • Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementationand evaluation of resident care through written care plans.
  • Maintain correctly written records as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage daily rotas and delegate daily workload ensuring sufficient and safe use ofmanpower.
  • Ensure that all new admission files are completed within the week of arrival and the named nurse, senior carer and key worker must all contribute to completing the file
  • Build relationships with external professionals
  • Assistthe home manager to carry out regular quality audits of care plans

Skills and experience required

  • Experience in Elderly care is essential
  • Registered Nurse with a Valid PIN
  • Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older peoplein order toundertake the coaching and supervision of Senior Care and Care Assistants
  • Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance
  • Demonstrate the ability to co-ordinate and motivate a team
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively
