About Guiseley Manor Care Home

Guiseley Manor Care Home is a purpose-built 72 care home facility situated in Guiseley, west Yorkshire, Leeds.

The home provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to 72 residents who have a variety of care needs.

We offer residential, nursing and dementia care.

We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents.

All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers.

Across Lovett Care all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.

The Role

We're seeking a kind, caring and organised Hospitality Assistant to join our team.

You'll ensure that residents and visitors receive an efficient food service, maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room and servery at all times.

We have a 35 hour contract available with an hourly rate of £12.71! Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide high standard hospitality service
  • Support and assist visitors
  • Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents
  • Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP
  • Ensure that all training given is adhered to
  • Ensure records and reports are properly written up
  • Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with

  • Hospitality or catering experience is desirable
  • Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team
  • Prepared to participate in the activities organised in the Home
