About Eden Manor

Eden Manor is a luxury purpose-built care home facility providing care for up to 80 residents, the home is designed for people requiring Residential, Dementia and End of Life care.

Situated in a quiet residential area within the Morton area of Carlisle in Cumbria, the home provides residents with a peaceful environment, the home is surround by beautifully landscaped gardens and Chances Park.

The home offers a supportive environment with 80 En-Suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas.

Our dedicated teams are hand selected through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we meet the resident's individual care and social needs and provide an exceptional level of care, Eden Manor only employs permanent team members and has had 0 agency usage since opening in 2022.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Deliver hands-on care to residents in a person-centred way
  • Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life
  • Assist residents in all aspects of their physical, emotional and spiritual care needs
  • Contribute to daily records of residents
  • Work effectively as part of the team
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults

What we're looking for

  • Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable
  • Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of employment
  • Evidence of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people
  • Sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Self-motivation and confidence
