We’re looking for a Gym Supervisor to help run our busy college gym and inspire students, staff, and the local community to stay active. You will be working during term time only (40 weeks), on flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. This is a great opportunity to build experience, share your passion for fitness, and make a real impact in a supportive college environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising the gym and supporting users day-to-day
- Delivering inductions and basic fitness programmes
- Setting up and maintaining equipment
- Leading or supporting sports activities and exercise classes
- Promoting fitness activities and increasing participation
- Keeping the environment safe, clean, and welcoming
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a gym or fitness environment
- Great communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, reliable team player
- First Aid qualified (or willing to train)
- Enhanced DBS required
- Gym instructor/group exercise qualifications, coaching experience, or a passion for leading activities.
