We are working with a leading oil company that is looking for an experienced financial performance and operational analyst to join the team. They are seeking someone with an accounting and analytical background who is ACCA / CIMA Part qualified. You’ll be involved with a variety of projects but the main focus of the role will be:

  • Monthly management information reporting
  • Monthly accruals and financial reporting
  • Variance analysis and budget reporting
  • Supporting quarterly business reviews
  • Supporting managers with business plans
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Presenting at Board meetings including operational performance, KPI analysis and results
  • Ad-hoc reporting

Ideally, you will have worked in oil and gas or a similar sector, have strong financial management skills, CapEx and OpEx experience, and have worked with SAP (S/4 Hana would be a bonus). You’ll also need to be comfortable presenting financial information at Board level regularly and this will be assessed at interview.

This is initially a one-year contract, with a view to extend and move to permanent payroll, offering a rate equivalent to £50,000 per annum. You will be required to work from the office daily but the company work a 9 day fortnight, meaning every other Friday is a non-working day. There is some flex in your working hours (i.e. early starts between 7-9.00 am). The office is based within walking distance of Baker Street, Marble Arch and Bond Street stations.
