Contract: Temporary, 2 weeks – 1st – 11th September

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Pay: £13.00 per hour plus holiday pay

We are looking for a professional and reliable Receptionist to provide holiday cover at a corporate site in Brighton from 1st – 11th September. This is a varied front-of-house and administration role, ideal for someone who is organised, confident dealing with staff and visitors, and able to work independently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the reception area and dealing with staff, visitors and enquiries professionally
  • Managing Outlook emails and responding to enquiries
  • Maintaining diaries and coordinating bookings
  • Managing the car park booking spreadsheet
  • Organising staff passes and liaising with managers to obtain the necessary authorisations
  • Using the visitor administration system to manage and record visitors
  • Liaising with staff and managers on a range of reception and administrative matters
  • Ensuring day‑to‑day reception and administrative tasks are completed efficiently

About you:

You will need to be professional, organised and confident when dealing with people at all levels. You should be comfortable using Outlook and Excel, have good attention to detail and be able to manage your own workload without constant supervision. Previous experience in a corporate reception, front‑of‑house or administrative role would be beneficial.
