We are delighted to be recruiting an HR Assistant to join a welcoming and well-established private school in South West London. This is a temporary position with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role
Working closely with the HR team, the HR Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations of the school. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support across all HR activities
- Assisting with recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, and onboarding new starters
- Preparing contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation
- Maintaining accurate, confidential staff records
- Supporting absence management, staff queries, and general HR correspondence
- Assisting with compliance checks, including right-to-work and safeguarding documentation
- Supporting payroll processes and liaising with relevant departments
- Helping ensure HR policies and procedures are followed
- General HR and office administration as required
About You
- No formal HR qualifications required
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
- Confident communicator with a friendly and professional approach
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proactive, eager to learn, and keen to build a career in HR
- Previous office or administrative experience is desirable but not essential
What’s on Offer
