Our Catering Department have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, hardworking Common Room Bar Steward to join their team.

The Role

The purpose of the role is to oversee all bar operations and to provide excellent customer service. This includes providing a welcoming service behind the bar serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks, monitoring products and stock control, ensuring all service standards are met and that the School complies with the Licensing Act 2003.

Hours of work: 20 paid hours per week over three evenings, comprising Common Room Bar opening hours, plus additional hours to open/close the bar, ordering stock, cleaning and other Catering department tasks, as required.

Working Weeks: 36.4 working weeks per annum, paid for 41.33 weeks to include annual leave entitlement.

The School

Oundle and Laxton Junior Schools have long been associated with the very best of modern independent education, especially boarding.
