Ashton Estate Country Holidays is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to support the cleaning and presentation of 15 luxury self‑catering properties on a rural private Estate. This is a predominantly hands‑on role. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their working time cleaning properties either independently or alongside other housekeepers, while also providing day‑to‑day supervision and supporting operational organisation. We are a small team and you must be willing to help out in other areas on the Estate, e.g., gardening.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare self‑catering properties to a consistently high standard
  • Work alongside the housekeeping team during changeovers and deep cleans
  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance and support to team members
  • Assist with preparing weekly work schedules and task lists
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure standards are maintained
  • Support stock control, inventories, and linen coordination
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and accurately
  • Assist with general housekeeping administration as required

Working hours may vary in accordance with occupancy levels and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel housekeeping or luxury holiday let cleaning
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Access to reliable transport due to the rural location of the Estate
  • Right to work in the UK
