An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding Refurbishment business based in Nottingham. Working closely with and reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will deliver a wide range of multi-scope projects being involved in all stages of project delivery offering you strong opportunities for development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring projects are delivered to target margins
- Managing contractual processes
- Issuing notices
- Maintaining accurate records
- Preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts
- Taking ownership of the variation account
- Conducting site visits to monitor subcontractor activity
- Supporting payment processes
- Working collaboratively with site teams and clients to drive successful outcomes
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and colleagues across the Regeneration division will be central to your success.
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who ideally holds a relevant formal qualification, with proven quantity surveying experience within the construction sector and familiarity with NHF SOR. A full Driving Licence is also essential.
