We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Build Manager, someone to be a strong operational lead to Lovell's East Midlands region and shape the way in which we deliver programmes to ensure success.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for all on-site activities for a number of New Build developments within the region. Ensuring that site expenditure remains in budget and company procedures are adhered to, you will monitor site production levels and take necessary steps to ensure programmes are met and the customer journey is positive across all projects.
You will motivate Site Teams, review staff levels, and recruit new members of staff when required, consistently motivating teams to deliver results and undertaking annual and interim Performance and Development Reviews, ensuring open and honest communication.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in a similar role. You will have experience of housebuilding in new build developments, managing quality, programming, budgets, people, and all targets set to achieve the region's forecast. A sound working knowledge of current building regulations, NHBC standards, and health, safety, and environmental legislation is essential. We also ask that you have knowledge of road and sewer construction.
We are looking for a self-starting individual who is assertive, confident, and able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team playing skills. IT literate with strong management and communication skills, you will be knowledgeable on good trade practice. The self-motivated individual should be capable of taking an overview of the build process and demonstrate where they have led the wider site team departments in their current role.
