We are seeking a Customer Care Operative to carry out reactive/responsive maintenance during the maintenance period. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, you’ll attend properties across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, successfully resolve issues and ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
In this role, you’ll liaise with occupants and provide essential support to subcontractors as needed. You’ll also build strong relationships with purchasers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance the overall customer experience while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Type of works that you’ll be undertaking include joinery, mastic and sealing works, painting, patch up repairs and general making good. All completed work must meet high-quality standards, achieve customer satisfaction and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. A key aspect of the role is maintaining high standards of health and safety for both operatives and occupants and ensuring the successful completion of defects liability works and working as part of a team when needed.
As our Customer Care Operative, you’ll have solid general knowledge of construction, including familiarity with NHBC requirements and a strong understanding of health and safety standards. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of structural principles, alongside a sound knowledge of good trade practices. Awareness of environmental regulations is also essential for this role.
