Job Description
Permanent Full Time – 37.5 Hours
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our growing regional business to undertake the role of Development Manager based at either our Cardiff or Bristol office.
Reporting to the Regional Development Director you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the effective delivery of mixed tenure residential developments from bid stage through to handover to the project team at Pre-Start Coordination stage. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable leading meetings and presenting to clients, senior leadership within Lovell and to all levels of the business.
The role will comprise the management and timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects from bid stage through to handover to the project team at Pre-Start Coordination stage. We ask that you should be familiar with and are able to:
- Chair bid launch/design team and planning stage meetings to agree accountabilities.
- Agree Heads of terms for land purchase.
- When required lead the land purchase contract.
- Prepare initial Pre-Start programmes.
- Review S106/planning position/liaison with planning consultants.
You will have previous experience within a similar role, along with residential new build experience in both private sale and social housing markets. We also ask that you hold a degree qualification and / or professional membership in Development or Chartered Surveying field, which is essential to the role.
