Job Description

Permanent, Part Time

Lovell South Wales & West Region are seeking an experienced, highly competent and confident construction secretary to join the Regional operational team based in the Cardiff office. As construction secretary your primary function will be to support and assist the operations Director to manage the administrative function of the team including consultant appointments, invoicing, document filing/ control and other associated activity.

You will be responsible to maintain and create a structured filing and record-keeping system for numerous departments, making sure all documents are accurate and securely stored. Compile and distribute monthly regional reports and adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy. Promote the principles of the company’s equality and Diversity Policy by treating colleagues, clients and stakeholders with respect.

The successful candidate will have previously worked within an administration role with excellent organisational and communication skills. As a self-motivated individual, you will be accustomed to working on own initiative and prioritising the workload, adapting to any sudden changes in the priorities. You will be experienced and skilled in producing accurately typed documents and general administrative skills and will demonstrate experience with dealing with telephone calls at all complexities whilst being computer literate; experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and outlook is advantageous.

It would be desirable to have worked in the construction industry in a similar role.
