We are seeking a proactive, detail-driven Development Coordinator to support the Development Manager in ensuring the timely progression of schemes from pre-construction through to planning. Within this position, you will assist in the management and timely progression of mixed-tenure residential projects. The role will focus on guiding schemes through the pre-development stage to the successful securing of planning permission, before handing over to the technical team to progress the detailed design.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating liaison with local authorities and other statutory bodies, assisting with the identification and management of risk through the production of risk registers, and overseeing utility services searches, including obtaining budget quotations for new connections and diversions. You will also support the coordination of the wider design team and specialist subcontractors, helping to ensure projects are well-managed, risks are mitigated, and programmes remain on track throughout the early development stages.
We are looking for a Development Coordinator with residential new build experience in both private sale and social housing markets. You will have good knowledge of construction, materials, methods and technology along with environmental legislation and issues. A full driving licence is also required.
