Within our Commercial and Support teams, the Trading Manager sits within the Revenue Management team, responsible for ensuring we optimise our trading performance. Reporting to the Senior Trading Manager, you will work with stakeholders across the business to manage key metrics, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.

You will focus on new markets, including Germany and Austria, and support trading meetings, manage actions, and create reporting for senior management.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Supporting trading meetings, managing actions, and updating senior management on performance
  • Analysing short and medium‑term performance trends and optimising the relationship between marketing spend, conversion rate, margin per transaction, and ultimately gross profit
  • Working with our analytics function to ensure the business has appropriate reporting to optimise performance
  • Leading commercial projects, e.g., competitor benchmarking or destination reviews
  • Representing the trading team across the wider business; sharing trading plans and commercial results to influence and optimise results

Skillset

  • Highly numerate with strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in extracting, analysing and presenting data to support recommendations
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and drive results
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to targets
  • Enjoy working in a fast‑paced and growing organisation
  • Experience of working across diverse stakeholder groups

Desirable

  • Experience with building business reporting and/or visualisation tools
  • Working knowledge of Google tools (GSheets, Looker, BigQuery)
  • Experience of working within competitive digital industry (e.g., Travel or online FMCG)
