About the team: The Brand team is the heartbeat of loveholidays' ambition to become a distinctive, world-class challenger brand. We are at a pivotal moment of transformation: scaling rapidly across international markets while defining what it means to be a "trusted holiday choice" in an AI-first era. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team encompassing Brand Strategy, PR, Social Media, and Creative Content, ensuring that as we grow, our voice remains authentic, our presence remains culturally resonant, and our brand equity remains our greatest competitive advantage.
The impact you’ll have: This is a 12-month FTC role reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. The Brand Director is a visionary leader responsible for the global health, perception, and emotional resonance of the loveholidays brand, where you will move beyond execution to architect the long-term brand roadmap, ensuring our "challenger" spirit is felt at every touchpoint of the customer journey. You are a master storyteller who understands that brand is not just marketing – it is a commercial engine. You will balance bold, high-impact creative swings with the rigour of a data-driven business, elevating our brand from a functional service to a beloved household name across multiple territories.
Your day-to-day:
- Global Brand Vision: Define and implement the multi-year brand strategy, positioning loveholidays as the leading challenger brand in the travel sector across all current and future markets.
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee the integration of brand narrative across Social, PR, and Influencer channels, ensuring these functions serve the broader brand goal of building trust and cultural fame.
- Commercial Synergy: Partner closely with Performance Marketing, Product, and Commercial leads to ensure brand investments drive long-term consideration and lower customer acquisition costs.
- International Scaling: Develop the "playbook" for brand entry and growth in new markets, balancing global consistency with the local nuance required to win in diverse cultural landscapes.
- Creative Excellence: Act as the ultimate bar-setter for creative output, pushing the internal team and agency partners to deliver work that is "playful, devoted, and joyful."
- Reputation & Trust: Lead the strategy for brand reputation and high-level PR, ensuring loveholidays maintains a position of authority and trust in an evolving AI-driven travel landscape.
- Budget & ROI Ownership: Manage the total brand budget, establishing sophisticated measurement frameworks that prove the impact of brand equity on the bottom line.
- Mentorship & Culture: Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of "creative confidence" where big ideas are encouraged and data-informed decision-making is the norm.

Desirable: A background in "disruptor" brands that have successfully challenged legacy incumbents. Experience overseeing high-budget integrated campaigns (TV, OOH, Digital) alongside organic community-led growth.
