We are seeking an experienced employment fee-earner to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Solicitor or Legal Executive with strong employment law experience to work within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The successful candidate will advise both employers and employees on a wide range of employment matters while building strong client relationships across the region. The role offers hybrid working, with attendance at one of our offices in Buxton, Matlock, Bakewell or Wirksworth at least twice per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters
  • Advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements, and related documentation
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal matters where required
  • Providing practical and commercially focused legal advice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting business development and networking activities
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA standards and firm procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with employment law experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of employment law and procedure
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently
