Main Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direct care to members by supporting and promoting their independence, choice, dignity, and overall well‐being, in alignment with each member's Personal Care Plan.
Assisting with washing, showering, bathing and dressing.
Promoting continence and also assisting with toileting, mobility, food and fluid intake.
Use of moving and handling equipment, wheelchairs and any specific mobility aid required by a member.
Providing ongoing support for the members, their family and supporting the Nursing team.
Skills
A broad knowledge of the care sector.
An understanding of dementia.
