- Scope
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HR Officer to join our HR team to support and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for applicants applying to join our Loveday luxury care homes including our respite service, Loveday at Home.
This is a true generalist role and in addition to recruitment, this role will include onboarding, payroll, low level Employee Relations support and all other associated HR processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact for all employees
- Accountable for drafting up job descriptions and posting roles on our ATS
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle of all our care homes including Loveday at Home
- Organising all interviews with Hiring Managers
- Accountable for drafting all written offers of employment into an employment contract
- Staying engaged with each candidate / employee during their compliance process, actively working to minimise the risk of losing candidates during the compliance process
- Taking responsibility for pre-hiring and then fully hiring all new candidates into the HRIS to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Support in the gathering of HR metrics
- To manage the relationship with stakeholders including hiring managers and external suppliers, ensuring that excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Deliver on ad-hoc projects as allocated, e. g., welcome and setting up of Corporate Induction, process improvements, accommodation, visa applications (where applicable) and DBS applications
- Support in gathering payroll data each pay period
- Support the HODs in conducting investigation meetings and disciplinary hearings and ensures any correspondence is completed and issued within departmental deadlines
- Support with accurate note taking
- Complete weekly HOD report
- Assist and manage all absences with the HODs in line with Bradford Factor
- Support other business areas when their HR Contact is out of the office, ensuring issues are resolved appropriately and in a timely manner with feedback given to the main contact.
- Support the Heads of Departments to actively recruit, screen and follow Company Procedures to attract qualified candidates for vacancies
- Maintain and administer our benefits packages
- Deliver and coordinating company inductions
- Manage offboarding process
- Support the Director of People and Culture & HRBP through delivery of multiple projects in relation to the People Strategy.

Skills and Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 or equivalent work experience
- Strong administration skills
- Experience of using ATS and HRIS, ideally Harri and Hi Bob
- Efficient and organised
- Experience of working within a compliance setting is desirable, but not essential
- Confident in communicating with people at all levels of seniority
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multitask and work at a fast pace with a sense of accuracy and great attention to detail
