As Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression of our home. You will provide a professional and friendly welcome to members, families, visitors, care professionals, and suppliers while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day administration of the home.

Responsibilities and Contribution

  • Assisting with front of house duties including arrivals, departures and billing, ensuring an elegant and professional welcome at all times.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage visitor sign‑in procedures and maintain security protocols.
  • Maintain a professional and immaculate reception area at all times.
  • Support hospitality in the reception area.
  • Support wider events, celebrations and family visits in collaboration with the Lifestyle and Hospitality teams.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and deliveries.
  • Support the hospitality management team with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Order and monitor office supplies and reception materials.
  • Assist with maintaining electronic and paper‑based records.
  • Communicate messages accurately and promptly to relevant departments.
  • Adhere to GDPR and confidentiality requirements at all times.
  • Follow all health and safety, safeguarding, and security procedures.
  • Ensure visitor and contractor records are maintained in accordance with company policies.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front‑of‑house, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
