The Role

We’re looking for a seasoned product designer who also has coding knowledge. You’ll take ideas from early concepts through to working UI, combining strong design skills with front-end ability in React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Ant Design. You will help us to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do. This will include conducting user research, designing customer journeys, producing usable prototypes and acting as an ambassador for brand and design consistency. This role is hands-on across discovery, design, prototyping, and delivery—ideal for someone who enjoys both design craft and creating functional prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of UX work streams across the LoveAdmin portfolio
  • Take ownership of design projects from discovery to shipped UI
  • Create flows, wireframes, and concept designs in Figma
  • Build responsive, accessible prototypes in React with TypeScript, Ant Design, and Tailwind CSS
  • Use AI tools to accelerate prototyping and reduce handover
  • Speak with customers to show features, gather feedback, and run usability sessions
  • Document design decisions and communicate clearly with product and development teams
  • Facilitate design workshops required to progress the design process
  • Work with developers to ensure product quality aligned to the design specification

Skills Required

  • Strong user-centred design skills with systems thinking and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication with concise documentation
  • Confidence running lightweight research, synthesising insights, and turning them into decisions
  • Ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
  • Experienced in facilitating workshops and conducting user/stakeholder interviews
  • Highly proficient with a range of UX and design tools such as Figma
  • Proficiency in React and TypeScript
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and Ant Design
  • Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive UI

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SaaS admin tools
  • Knowledge of sports or education sectors
  • Experience using Cursor or similar AI-assisted tools for prototyping

Benefits

  • Impactful role in a small, hands-on product team where you will directly shape what thousands of members and clubs use daily
  • Perks at Work discounts and access to Community Online Academy
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Pension contribution scheme
  • Health and wellbeing programme, including online GP and counselling support
  • Regular socials, a well-stocked office, and free parking at Brighton Marina
