Job Description – Temporary Covid-19/Flu Vaccinator – Experienced Registered and Non-Registered CliniciansMedicus Health Partners are looking for professional and enthusiastic vaccinators to support our delivery of Covid-19 and Flu vaccinations for the Autumn/Winter 2024 season, to start 3rd October (TBC). We are the largest Super Practice in Enfield, working in 12 locations and caring for over 93,000 patients. Our vaccination centre near Enfield Town is open to all and is one of the busiest and largest in London.We are looking for experienced both registered and non-registered clinicians to help provide vaccinations for the community, teaming with an administrator to work effectively, accurately and safely and provide an excellent patient experience.Main responsibilities are:• Assess patient’s clinical eligibility and suitability for vaccination• Administration of Covid and Flu vaccinations• Keep up to date with knowledge of the National Protocol and guidance for delivery• Obtain consent, address concerns, provide post vaccination advice• Ensure correct use and disposal of equipment• Adhere to all policies and protocols• Assist with post-vaccination observation if required• Assist with any tasks as directed by the lead clinicianRequired skills• Experience of Covid and Flu vaccinations• Current certifications for Comirnaty, Flu and Covid-19 Core Knowledge• Current BLS qualification and anaphylaxis• Current DBS certificate• Knowledge of the Green Book and immunisation schedulesShifts are available Monday-Saturday as either AM (8.45am – 1.30pm), PM (1.30pm – 6pm) or full day (8.45am – 6pm with 30 minute lunch break) – to start 3rd October (TBC)To apply, please email your CV to nclicb.hr.mhp@nhs.netJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contractContract length: 2-6 months on zero hours contractSalary: dependent on experienceClosing date: Friday 6th September
