Lead Medical Secretary
We are working with a leading global private healthcare organisation that require an experienced lead medical secretary to manage a team of six at one of their London sites. You'll mange the day to day workload for the team of medical secretaries as well as assist with recruitment, training, personal performance and development.
On a day to day basis you'll:
· Provide medical secretarial and administrative support
· Delegate work, ensuring that the clinic's needs are met
· Run and produce operational and KPI statistics and results
· Support the Operations Manager with the day to day running of the clinic
· Conduct regular team meetings, 1-2-1's and staff reviews
· Ensure that clinician and patient needs are met
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role before with responsibility for staff leadership as well as medical secretarial duties.
This is a full-time position and you will be required to work in the office, hybrid working is not available. The office is within walking distance of Baker Street, Bond Street, Regents Park and Marylebone stations. You'll work a 37.5 hour week, but please note that the clinic is open 8.00am – 8.00pm, Monday to Friday – this means you may have early starts or late finishes at times.
This is initially a three month temporary position, and you will have the opportunity to apply for the permanent post if you're interested. It will start quickly (subject to pre-employment compliance checks) and offers an hourly rate of up to £21.63 per hour, plus holiday pay of £3.15 per hour if working via PAYE. There is the option to work via an Umbrella Company (inside IR35) if preferred.
