This is a 6-9 month temporary position, starting asap.
As an experienced Contract Specialist in Procurement and Supply Chain, you will be shaping contracting plans and priorities.
Negotiating and implementing contracts, especially in Directs supply, focusing on product ingredients and 3rd party product manufacturing.
Working with the relevant market sector and commodity managers to implement source-to-contract processes to ensure delivery of business plans and market sector/commodity strategies.
Participating in some aspects of the full sourcing process which include development of scope, contract writing, and contract execution.
Ensuring local contracts comply with master/global agreements.
Liaising with Legal Teams and central Procurement and Supply Chain function on standards & contracting specifics, including supporting the deployment of new contract templates.
Ensuring appropriate engagement with SMEs when negotiating specific contract content (eg Quality, HSSE, Labour Rights, Sustainability etc) Engaging, challenging, and influencing internal customers, and providing guidance on PSCM processes and risk management.
Where required, liaise with suppliers to support internal stakeholders with complex contract negotiations.
What we are looking for Previous working background of contracting processes, tools and systems ideally with experience in the directs supply sector, as well as a strong understanding of critical clauses and T&Cs Deep contracting practitioner knowledge either a legal or procurement (preferably both) background.
Delivering and supporting sourcing processes and services in a complex blue chip global organisation, ideally within a procurement function dealing with multi-billion $ spends.
